Business Update
DrakkarSport (Drakkar Finland Oy) has sold its business to Saimaan Palju ja Lautta Oy (Saimaan Palju Events). The transaction will take effect on 1 June 2026.
As part of the deal, DrakkarSport’s equipment rental operations at Lappeenranta Harbour, a significant portion of its fleet, and existing agreements with domestic and international tour operators will be transferred to Saimaan Palju Events. All customer bookings already confirmed will be carried out under the original terms.
DrakkarSport’s services and customer relationships will continue to grow as part of Saimaan Palju Events, an operator with a strong vision for developing tourism in the Saimaa region and expanding into international markets.
